<tbody><tr><td id="fragmentid_1"><div><p><strong class="Doctor">Doctor</strong>: Okay, so Dr. Trugoneck, when the gastroenterologist here, I know we have a referral from the Alzheimer's and Alzheimer's for my interest here there at the end of May, because yes, diarrhea. And so they asked us to talk, because they were concerned of me being more of a long-term issue. And so I just wanted to speak with you to make sure that we were, you know, to get a sense of what's going on, how it's been since then, when I have to, to see if there's any more we need to do. So is diarrhea still a problem?</p></div></td></tr><tr><td id="fragmentid_2"><div><p><strong class="Patient">Patient</strong>: It's not a lot of time, yeah. It's usually like, when I go to the washroom, I have a hard time, I have a bowel movements, I usually tear down there. And I don't think I noticed, like, took a moment to sit and notice how often it happens. After that appointment, I've noticed it would happen at least a couple of times a month.</p></div></td></tr><tr><td id="fragmentid_3"><div><p><strong class="Doctor">Doctor</strong>: Okay. So the day you went to the emergency room, I guess, which is for three. You know, two parents, you know, was there something specific that happened that day?</p></div></td></tr><tr><td id="fragmentid_4"><div><p><strong class="Patient">Patient</strong>: No, actually, I just woke up. And then it was a regular day. I was like, probably not going to work. I woke up just a bit earlier, then I just kept going to the washroom. And then I thought it was just maybe, I had something going on, maybe, dinner didn't sit in the wall, although it was a dinner that was coming out, we had it at our house. Yeah. So nothing of, like, it didn't seem like I had something bad that caused me to go to the washroom. So yeah. And then I just kept going to the washroom quickly, and since there was a lot of blood coming, I thought maybe I should go get checked out.</p></div></td></tr><tr><td id="fragmentid_5"><div><p><strong class="Doctor">Doctor</strong>: So you came in because you don't have a blood?</p></div></td></tr><tr><td id="fragmentid_6"><div><p><strong class="Patient">Patient</strong>: Lots of blood, actually.</p></div></td></tr><tr><td id="fragmentid_7"><div><p><strong class="Doctor">Doctor</strong>: And is blood something you post forward you?</p></div></td></tr><tr><td id="fragmentid_8"><div><p><strong class="Patient">Patient</strong>: Yes. But I think that time, just more blood than I was comfortable seeing.</p></div></td></tr><tr><td id="fragmentid_9"><div><p><strong class="Doctor">Doctor</strong>: Okay. I usually have tearing down there, so usually it's not uncommon for me to see a daughter to a blood. What I go to the washroom. But this was more. There was a lot more, so I was got really scared.</p></div></td></tr><tr><td id="fragmentid_10"><div><p><strong class="Patient">Patient</strong>: Okay, so you went to the hospital, did you check your other big problems?</p></div></td></tr><tr><td id="fragmentid_11"><div><p><strong class="Doctor">Doctor</strong>: Yeah. There wasn't any more bleeding going on. No, it's in your home. Yeah. And when this happened, were you having pain in the bottom?</p></div></td></tr><tr><td id="fragmentid_12"><div><p><strong class="Patient">Patient</strong>: Yes.</p></div></td></tr><tr><td id="fragmentid_13"><div><p><strong class="Doctor">Doctor</strong>: Were you having any pain in your belly?</p></div></td></tr><tr><td id="fragmentid_14"><div><p><strong class="Patient">Patient</strong>: I was. I was having a lot of pain in my lower belly. Yeah.</p></div></td></tr><tr><td id="fragmentid_15"><div><p><strong class="Doctor">Doctor</strong>: Okay. When the bowel movement came out that day, was it a hard bowel movement or a soft bowel movement?</p></div></td></tr><tr><td id="fragmentid_16"><div><p><strong class="Patient">Patient</strong>: I would say first it was hard. And then later on, it wouldn't say it was soft, but it got softer compared to the first time.</p></div></td></tr><tr><td id="fragmentid_17"><div><p><strong class="Doctor">Doctor</strong>: Okay. And then what are your bowel movements, actually? Like usually.</p></div></td></tr><tr><td id="fragmentid_18"><div><p><strong class="Patient">Patient</strong>: It's very on the harder side, but like sometimes it's super hard and I have, I think, I have to put like a good long time for me to make a bowel movement, but sometimes it's normal. I'd say that it's good, but not too hard, not too soft. And so what I wipe, there's nothing to do there, but that consistency, so it's usually between that and the heart, it's my angel.</p></div></td></tr><tr><td id="fragmentid_19"><div><p><strong class="Doctor">Doctor</strong>: Okay. And it's been like that for a long time.</p></div></td></tr><tr><td id="fragmentid_20"><div><p><strong class="Patient">Patient</strong>: I'd say since the last year of uni, yeah. Yes, since last year.</p></div></td></tr><tr><td id="fragmentid_21"><div><p><strong class="Doctor">Doctor</strong>: Okay. Yeah. So that true and after a few years. Okay. And since this happened, have you had as much bleeding again?</p></div></td></tr><tr><td id="fragmentid_22"><div><p><strong class="Patient">Patient</strong>: Yeah. I'd say after I've noticed, I think the month after, I have like 10 days, and every time I'd go to the washroom, I'd bleed, so it was very uncomfortable for me. So again, it was very minimal, but I did what I was wiping, I just feel the inflammation there.</p></div></td></tr><tr><td id="fragmentid_23"><div><p><strong class="Doctor">Doctor</strong>: Yeah. So, yeah. Okay. And more recently, it's still bleeding.</p></div></td></tr><tr><td id="fragmentid_24"><div><p><strong class="Patient">Patient</strong>: I think last month, I have with that period of 10 days, but after that, but I feel like since that, the point that I've been noticing, this is pretty common for me, I'll have like months, like every month, every month, I've not seen, every one or two months, I have like a span of two, three days. Not just like a week, it was an issue, and then, yeah, um, you never had a colonoscopy before.</p></div></td></tr><tr><td id="fragmentid_25"><div><p><strong class="Doctor">Doctor</strong>: Um, what is that?</p></div></td></tr><tr><td id="fragmentid_26"><div><p><strong class="Patient">Patient</strong>: You can't really look at your colonoscopy.</p></div></td></tr><tr><td id="fragmentid_27"><div><p><strong class="Doctor">Doctor</strong>: No. Are you on new medications?</p></div></td></tr><tr><td id="fragmentid_28"><div><p><strong class="Patient">Patient</strong>: Just by the medication.</p></div></td></tr><tr><td id="fragmentid_29"><div><p><strong class="Doctor">Doctor</strong>: Just by the medication. Do you smoke?</p></div></td></tr><tr><td id="fragmentid_30"><div><p><strong class="Patient">Patient</strong>: No.</p></div></td></tr><tr><td id="fragmentid_31"><div><p><strong class="Doctor">Doctor</strong>: Do you drink alcohol?</p></div></td></tr><tr><td id="fragmentid_32"><div><p><strong class="Patient">Patient</strong>: No.</p></div></td></tr><tr><td id="fragmentid_33"><div><p><strong class="Doctor">Doctor</strong>: Okay. Any operations on your belly before?</p></div></td></tr><tr><td id="fragmentid_34"><div><p><strong class="Patient">Patient</strong>: Um, just for my appendicitis. I'm too responsible.</p></div></td></tr><tr><td id="fragmentid_35"><div><p><strong class="Doctor">Doctor</strong>: Yeah. Negro appendicitis. Okay. And, um, no, have you had any children?</p></div></td></tr><tr><td id="fragmentid_36"><div><p><strong class="Patient">Patient</strong>: No.</p></div></td></tr><tr><td id="fragmentid_37"><div><p><strong class="Doctor">Doctor</strong>: Okay. And, um, on a day-to-day basis, when you're going to the doctor, does it hurt when you have stomach?</p></div></td></tr><tr><td id="fragmentid_38"><div><p><strong class="Patient">Patient</strong>: Sometimes, yeah.</p></div></td></tr><tr><td id="fragmentid_39"><div><p><strong class="Doctor">Doctor</strong>: Sometimes, but not all the time?</p></div></td></tr><tr><td id="fragmentid_40"><div><p><strong class="Patient">Patient</strong>: No. I'd say, for a long period of time.</p></div></td></tr><tr><td id="fragmentid_41"><div><p><strong class="Doctor">Doctor</strong>: Is there anything you've tried to help with this?</p></div></td></tr><tr><td id="fragmentid_42"><div><p><strong class="Patient">Patient</strong>: Um, sometimes, if I see that, I've put in a lot of, it takes a long time. I will just get off the toilet with a walk a little. Um, sometimes, I've noticed, like, um, I'll take, like, bioil, some sort of my stomach.</p></div></td></tr><tr><td id="fragmentid_43"><div><p><strong class="Doctor">Doctor</strong>: Okay. Do you take any, like, supplements? Do you take any, uh, any sort of laxatives or anything like that?</p></div></td></tr><tr><td id="fragmentid_44"><div><p><strong class="Patient">Patient</strong>: No.</p></div></td></tr><tr><td id="fragmentid_45"><div><p><strong class="Doctor">Doctor</strong>: Okay. In your family, do you still have problems or problems?</p></div></td></tr><tr><td id="fragmentid_46"><div><p><strong class="Patient">Patient</strong>: My mom said she had something like this where it actually hurt to me. This is, like, October.</p></div></td></tr><tr><td id="fragmentid_47"><div><p><strong class="Doctor">Doctor</strong>: Okay. And I guess I did some blood work when you were at the hospital and... You thought I was some sort of information was there?</p></div></td></tr><tr><td id="fragmentid_48"><div><p><strong class="Patient">Patient</strong>: Yeah.</p></div></td></tr><tr><td id="fragmentid_49"><div><p><strong class="Doctor">Doctor</strong>: Okay. So, your blood count was normal, but they did see that there were a few inflammatory symptoms in the stool sample.</p></div></td></tr><tr><td id="fragmentid_50"><div><p><strong class="Patient">Patient</strong>: Okay.</p></div></td></tr><tr><td id="fragmentid_51"><div><p><strong class="Doctor">Doctor</strong>: Um, and anything else you wanted to mention that I haven't asked about?</p></div></td></tr><tr><td id="fragmentid_52"><div><p><strong class="Patient">Patient</strong>: Yes. Um, I don't know. I feel like maybe there's something I should talk to you about, but sometimes what I... Not sometimes. Uh, quite often I notice that when I'm like swallowing, cooling, I feel like it gets trapped in this area. And I have to drink a lot of water. Sometimes I stand to help the predict go down. Did any of your foods that happened to you?</p></div></td></tr><tr><td id="fragmentid_53"><div><p><strong class="Doctor">Doctor</strong>: No, honestly. These last time I had, it happened. It was too... Right into me. So, well, that's the truth. So, I was having with a softer T.A. egg's potatoes, all the great soft food, which felt really stuck there quickly, so I remember just having to, like, stretch out my neck, have a little bit of water, have a little bit of... How long does that feel like? I'm going on the front.</p></div></td></tr><tr><td id="fragmentid_54"><div><p><strong class="Patient">Patient</strong>: Um, I want to save for about a year, but it's not too, like, frequent, I don't know about. So, some days you can eat. It's fine.</p></div></td></tr><tr><td id="fragmentid_55"><div><p><strong class="Doctor">Doctor</strong>: Yeah. In the seven days, it happens. And then, um, with that, I also say, it would save more frequently. Um, I notice a pain here. Like, when I'm eating my food, that's when it comes out the most.</p></div></td></tr><tr><td id="fragmentid_56"><div><p><strong class="Patient">Patient</strong>: Yeah.</p></div></td></tr><tr><td id="fragmentid_57"><div><p><strong class="Doctor">Doctor</strong>: And, um, when this does happen, how long is that feeling of stuckness last, is it, like, a second...</p></div></td></tr><tr><td id="fragmentid_58"><div><p><strong class="Patient">Patient</strong>: Like, 15-ish minutes. When it happens, it's able to drink water.</p></div></td></tr><tr><td id="fragmentid_59"><div><p><strong class="Doctor">Doctor</strong>: Yeah. I drink water, and it burns a little, I would say, but then it goes away.</p></div></td></tr><tr><td id="fragmentid_60"><div><p><strong class="Patient">Patient</strong>: Okay, but not throwing it after a free time.</p></div></td></tr><tr><td id="fragmentid_61"><div><p><strong class="Doctor">Doctor</strong>: No, no, no. Okay. Um, please. Um, I think I've mentioned anything. So, I saw that you've had someone look at your stomach a couple of years ago.</p></div></td></tr><tr><td id="fragmentid_62"><div><p><strong class="Patient">Patient</strong>: Um, I... And I have the email in my credit, um, you need to look. June 2023? This car room?</p></div></td></tr><tr><td id="fragmentid_63"><div><p><strong class="Doctor">Doctor</strong>: Oh, yes. Um, so, I had a vomiting episode, and then I couldn't keep food down.</p></div></td></tr><tr><td id="fragmentid_64"><div><p><strong class="Patient">Patient</strong>: Yeah.</p></div></td></tr><tr><td id="fragmentid_65"><div><p><strong class="Doctor">Doctor</strong>: So, it's for a different problem.</p></div></td></tr><tr><td id="fragmentid_66"><div><p><strong class="Patient">Patient</strong>: Yeah, sort of thing. But what happened was, they gave me medicine packs and, uh, something... Is that for some?</p></div></td></tr><tr><td id="fragmentid_67"><div><p><strong class="Doctor">Doctor</strong>: Yes. Uh, I think that was what it was called. But after that, like, I was still having problems, so they did... They did a test on my stomach.</p></div></td></tr><tr><td id="fragmentid_68"><div><p><strong class="Patient">Patient</strong>: Yeah.</p></div></td></tr><tr><td id="fragmentid_69"><div><p><strong class="Doctor">Doctor</strong>: Okay. And, um, you're not... You just took that medication for a short time? You're very sure. A little bit of whatever. How long do you prescribe it to me?</p></div></td></tr><tr><td id="fragmentid_70"><div><p><strong class="Patient">Patient</strong>: Okay.</p></div></td></tr><tr><td id="fragmentid_71"><div><p><strong class="Doctor">Doctor</strong>: So, you know, it's most likely that these kind of issues are not due to any serious... But anytime someone is having blood in the stool that's been persistent, we recommend doing the colonoscopy.</p></div></td></tr><tr><td id="fragmentid_72"><div><p><strong class="Patient">Patient</strong>: Okay.</p></div></td></tr><tr><td id="fragmentid_73"><div><p><strong class="Doctor">Doctor</strong>: To take a look with a camera in the bottom, to make sure that there's nothing more serious going on. The most common things are scrapes and scratches.</p></div></td></tr><tr><td id="fragmentid_74"><div><p><strong class="Patient">Patient</strong>: Oh, right.</p></div></td></tr><tr><td id="fragmentid_75"><div><p><strong class="Doctor">Doctor</strong>: Because sometimes you strain, but you scratch those on the side as it's going down. Yeah. Just like you might scratch, you know, if you're brushing against the wall, you make your use of the scratch on the arm. It bleeds for a little bit. Yeah. And stops nothing too serious. Um, but we want to make sure there's nothing else going on there that shouldn't be there.</p></div></td></tr><tr><td id="fragmentid_76"><div><p><strong class="Patient">Patient</strong>: Okay.</p></div></td></tr><tr><td id="fragmentid_77"><div><p><strong class="Doctor">Doctor</strong>: That's bleeding. And so that would involve coming in, you get some medication to sleep. And we put a camera in the bottom to pull it around. And, you know, like I said, most of the time it's types of symptoms. We don't find anything too serious.</p></div></td></tr><tr><td id="fragmentid_78"><div><p><strong class="Patient">Patient</strong>: Okay.</p></div></td></tr><tr><td id="fragmentid_79"><div><p><strong class="Doctor">Doctor</strong>: You know, as far as the swallowing issue, it's probably worth well while we've got these sedated. Just take a look at your stomach as well.</p></div></td></tr><tr><td id="fragmentid_80"><div><p><strong class="Patient">Patient</strong>: Okay.</p></div></td></tr><tr><td id="fragmentid_81"><div><p><strong class="Doctor">Doctor</strong>: Make sure there's no one for me to be hearing it be else in your food type. Okay. And it might be positive assumptions. Does that sound fairly reasonable?</p></div></td></tr><tr><td id="fragmentid_82"><div><p><strong class="Patient">Patient</strong>: That's it.</p></div></td></tr><tr><td id="fragmentid_83"><div><p><strong class="Doctor">Doctor</strong>: Okay. Um, did you have any other questions?</p></div></td></tr><tr><td id="fragmentid_84"><div><p><strong class="Patient">Patient</strong>: Um, do you think some, these are some, um, that maybe due to poor posture, but that's why the swallowing issue.</p></div></td></tr><tr><td id="fragmentid_85"><div><p><strong class="Doctor">Doctor</strong>: Yeah. I wouldn't blame that.</p></div></td></tr><tr><td id="fragmentid_86"><div><p><strong class="Patient">Patient</strong>: Okay.</p></div></td></tr><tr><td id="fragmentid_87"><div><p><strong class="Doctor">Doctor</strong>: Only because I was myself having poor posture.</p></div></td></tr><tr><td id="fragmentid_88"><div><p><strong class="Patient">Patient</strong>: Oh, yeah.</p></div></td></tr><tr><td id="fragmentid_89"><div><p><strong class="Doctor">Doctor</strong>: I know. And so what I'm going to do is I will, um, uh, my secretary will reach out to the next few days to find some time to book that procedure. We'll see them. Any other questions?</p></div></td></tr><tr><td id="fragmentid_90"><div><p><strong class="Patient">Patient</strong>: Uh, no.</p></div></td></tr><tr><td id="fragmentid_91"><div><p><strong class="Doctor">Doctor</strong>: Okay. Thank you so much.</p></div></td></tr><tr><td id="fragmentid_92"><div><p><strong class="Patient">Patient</strong>: Great.</p></div></td></tr></tbody>
